Food and Drink

La Brea Cafe
Looking for a nice meal without having to traverse the premises forever? This cafe, right near the zoo entrance, serves a wide variety of healthy and sustainably-sourced meals. The two stories of seating overlook the Pleistocene Plains exhibit. Patrons on level 1, please don’t taunt the camels with your salad.
Menu

RexMex
You’ve come to the right place for meat. Almost everything here has meat! Satisfy your inner carnivore with steak, bacon cheeseburgers, and carnitas. All meat here is grown from stem cells to reduce environmental impact, but it still tastes great.

Ol' Sam's Seafood Grill
If you’re looking for a more formal atmosphere, try Ol’ Sam’s Seafood Grill. This restaurant offers a variety of sustainably-caught local seafood. Feel free to reserve a seat beforehand; they’re cheap, because nobody eats here for some reason.
Menu

Quetzal's Pretzels
The name is a bit of a misnomer; we do not have Quetzalcoatlus. But we do have huge puffy pretzels!

Bakker's Tavern
Beer - something a paleontologist cannot live without. As the only place on the greater premises that serves alcohol at any significant capacity, Bakker’s Tavern supplies all the drinks you want, including James Osborne’s Paleo Ale, made with yeast collected from the surfaces of actual fossils. Ages 21 and up only. If you’ve had more than five drinks, you are not allowed to reenter the grounds.

Shopping

Located near the entrance with outposts throughout, the Huxley Paleozoo store is your go-to place for paleo merch, bringing you only the best and most scientifically up-to-date things. Plushies, toys, books, T-shirts, fossil casts, early access copies of Saurian, and more!

Hotels

Need more than one day to explore the whole park? There are several hotels on the mainland located close to the tram dropoff. While close in location, they are not affiliated with Huxley Paleozoo.

Guests with disabilities
Huxley Paleozoo is wheelchair-accessible; although some inclines are rather steep, there are ways to get around them. Service animals are allowed; guidelines can be found at the entrance. We have on-site counselors to assist with mental health issues.

Wheelchairs, strollers, motorized wheelchairs, and dune buggies are available to rent at the entrance.

Lost and Found
Anything found lost on the premises will be held for a year at the Lost and Found, located at the entrance. Anything not claimed after a year will be distributed among the staff and the animals.
