Animal Ambassadors
The Anning Palaeontological Museum is home to our famed animal ambassadors, a selection of extinct animals chosen for public outreach and interaction. In the AP^3 wing, one can get up close to our ambassadors, and learn more about them and the de-extinction effort. At times, they come out for interactive presentations that show off cool natural behaviors and allow an opportunity to come in direct contact with them!

Other animal encounters
There are other opportunities to directly interact with our animals. The Aquarium's Ordovician section includes an opportunity to touch Isotelus, one of our largest trilobites. One can feed members of our Sinopterus flock in the Jehol Aviary. The Petting Zoo offers direct interaction with four small herbivorous species.
