Nasutoceratops

Nasutoceratops has a degree of infamy for its horns - they look like those of Texas longhorn cattle! This striking example of convergent evolution became popular basically as soon as it was found. The horns are the longest known of any chasmosaurine ceratopsid, and more along the lines of chasmosaurines like Triceratops. Its skull is short and deep, and has... a massive nose. Other than that, it's a pretty average ceratopsid. It lived in a humid wetland near the coast, an area rich in dinosaur biodiversity.

We house a herd of Nasutoceratops in the Campanian Plains exhibit.
