Llallawavis

Llallawavis may not be the largest terror bird, but it is one of the last, and it's known from the most complete fossil of a terror bird by far. It shows a standard terror bird anatomy, with a long neck, a large hooked beak, and long legs. The beak is less prominent than those of other terror birds, and the beak has a small hump before the eyes.

Llallawavis is predatory, chasing after small animals such as rodents. The environment it lived in was a dry grassland, similar to how it is today. The inner ear of Llallawavis is attuned to hear low-frequency sounds, indicating it wmay have been a deep-voiced bird.

Llallawavis can be found in the South America exhibit.
