Dimetrodon teutonis

Dimetrodon teutonis is the smallest species of Dimetrodon, and the only one known from outside North America. In spite of this, it still has a fully-developed sail. Unlike other Dimetrodon species, its teeth aren't serrated and it lived in a drier upland environment, and probably ate insects and small vertebrates.

This small synapsid is an ambassador animal at Huxley Paleozoo. The larger D. grandis can be found in Synapsid Alley.
