Ainiktozoon

Look at this thing. Go ahead, take a good, long look. For understandable reasons, this has been a problematic species. Originally thought to be a primitive chordate, it's now thought to be a thylacocephalan crustacean. Thylacocephalans had large compound eyes, huge carapace-covered heads with grasping raptorial limbs, and small bodies with propulsive limbs.

Ainiktozoon can be found in the Silurian section of the Aquarium.
